snip I realize this thread has wandered a bit but..... I just want to say I just got back from a long weekend at Road America and all I can say is that the ALMS (and by extension the ACO) better not do anything that stops manufacturers like Audi from building cars like the R10. They, like the R8's before them, are magnificent to watch. So quiet, I thought the track was being vacuumed. |

Bottom line is when it comes to sports car racing (and F1 for that matter) I, as a spectator, _want_ to see the most exotic, high-tech, race cars as possible. There are plenty of other series that provide less than that, don't screw this up. |
