Default [OT] C'mon ya Poms. - 04-17-2007 , 11:17 AM

I'm off to bed. This is plain awful to watch. You gotta do better than
a lousy 20 per wicket. You know we want you in the semis and hopefully
in the finals, so pull the damn finger out.

Oh crap, there goes No7 just as i type this. Nighty night. :-/

We've pulled up our stumps and taken our ball home.

Bloody awful :-(

Andrew Symonds? It's ok, we'll let you keep him.

Well done Phil, you've found 1. :-)

Question of the month is, will the English cricket team, on the way
home, hijack and divert the plane to Bangladesh ? Oh wait.. you can't
win there either.. perhaps a nice confidence boosting tour in
Lichteinstein ? ;-p

Look, just because you're still sore over the 2-0 drubbing we gave you
in the trination tournament, there's no need to take it out on us now
we've reverted to form. We know we're crap, you're unlikely to upset
anyone hugely by pointing it out. I will however laugh heartily if you
fail to win the world cup seeing as you lot seem to think you own it

LOL. Nah, don't be silly. It's just a long term lease. ;-)

Seriously, we should win it on current form, but nothing is certain
from here on. Anything could happen now that there are 3 reasonable
opponents in the semis with the Poms bailing out. Whoa..<slaps hands>
ok, that was my last ribbing. Promise. ;-p

Crap. Won a game, which nobody expected them to win...

End game for the maestro, one of the finest bats ever.

Alonso had every bit as much fuel as the majority of the others, and his
lead of 25 seconds is pure, raw, brilliant pace.

I stayed up to watch the highlights having listened to it on the
radio... but it was a strangely disappointing game to watch. I think
part of that was that the highlights had been rushed together very
quickly to broadcast only about an hour after the game finished but it
didn't have the impact I'd expected. And Samuels should be feeling very
guilty this morning - kudos to him for batting well after shamefully
running his captain out, but that wasn't the way to end the career of
Brian Lara.
