Following Australia's almost uncontested run to world championship in the last three tournaments, ICC is a bit concerned about the game's dropping viewership across the world. It is understood that the ICC has approached FIA for suggestions since they have traveled the same road during Michael's continuous world championships. FIA has provided ICC with some short term suggestions from their experience, which includes - Ban of any aerodynamic, mechanical assists like squash balls within the body - limiting the total body weight of players including all gear to 75 kgs - 20-20 version for qualifying rounds to keep audience interest with some action during the 'long world cups' - Forcing soft and hard version of cricket balls in at least one power plays (Soft balls to be colour coded with a red line) - Tilke to redesign the next Cricket world cup venues - The winner of current world cup to play qualifying round next time and the top 2 of associated nations to play directly in Super Eight. This will mix up the tournament. There are similar suggestions inspired from F1 qualifying. FIA feels that these suggestions, some inspired from 2003 and 2005 seasons which put breaks on Ferrari, could bring viewers back to the game, especially from the Asian sub-continent. FIA experts are planning to watch next few seasons of Cricket to understand cricket more and give valuable suggestions. |

LOL. (I'd watch more cricket if it wasn't on pay TV). I'm one of the few watching Russia and Finland not playing Cricket on ice |
