If yes, and you have some spare time, we could meet and I could take you out to some nice hangout places, treat you with some fine Indian beer and meanwhile munching and absorbing on as much possible of that fine motorsport content stored in you... (I may not be upto it, but I can certainly try!) :-) (BTW, Bangalore (nor Pune) is the real home for curry! And you Brits, stop using the slang "curry" for Indian cuisine...!) |

You're in Pune? I have a good friend in Mumbai (we were there in March, he's coming to Europe in September), and have been in Pune as well. |

(BTW, Bangalore (nor Pune) is the real home for curry! And you Brits, stop using the slang "curry" for Indian cuisine...!) I'm quite fond of south-Indian food, to the dismay of my friend who is a Parsee and thinks north-Indian food is much better :-) |

I'm pretty sure my grandfather served in/near Pune in the 30s when he was in the Royal Horse Artillery. |

(BTW, Bangalore (nor Pune) is the real home for curry! And you Brits, stop using the slang "curry" for Indian cuisine...!) I'm using 'curry' as shorthand for the barbarians. To describe every dish that's been put before me this week would be far too time-consuming. And I'd just be using the word 'drool' far too many times ![]() |

The only place in India where civilian and airforce crafts use the same space to operate! Don't be surprised if you see yourself standing next to a Sukhoi or a Jaguar after you land in Pune! :-) |
