I'm quite fond of south-Indian food, to the dismay of my friend who is a Parsee and thinks north-Indian food is much better :-) I love both :-) |

His main place (Cafe Spice Namaste) is full of City wankers - The Parsee is up in North London suburbia and serves food that's wonderfully comforting. re: South Indian food.... it's been absolutely fantastic eating in the works canteen with a bunch of the older managers. A lot of tiffin tins full of home-made delights make an appearance and are shared around, and the basic self-service veggie thali from the canteen is something you'd pay over a tenner for in most UK restaurants ![]() Bury me deep in coconut chutney ![]() pete |
