I love both :-)

There are so few places in the UK that serve Parsee food - the only one
I've tried is Cyrus Todiwala's "The Parsee" up in Archway. His main
place (Cafe Spice Namaste) is full of City wankers - The Parsee is up in
North London suburbia and serves food that's wonderfully comforting.

re: South Indian food.... it's been absolutely fantastic eating in the
works canteen with a bunch of the older managers. A lot of tiffin tins
full of home-made delights make an appearance and are shared around,
and the basic self-service veggie thali from the canteen is something
you'd pay over a tenner for in most UK restaurants

Bury me deep in coconut chutney

Hah!

Here's a link to method and pics for the Madras BIR curry I did last
weekend! I took the pics with my mobile, so the quality isn't all that
great.

It was delicious! I'll be trying all types of BIR curries now, as well
as traditional Indian sub-continent ones.

Brings back fond memories of my week in Chennai. The people who were
paying us for the course were concerned all week about us tucking into
the same food they were eating - no idea what it was, but it was lovely.
They'd pre-arranged pizzas, sarnies and burgers for us for the week! I
can only assume that the Americans who bank roll a lot of their
operation aren't too keen on Indian food...
