Oooh - I've had a rather extensive 'guided tour' of a Talbot 105
about 6-7 years ago at Coy's - astonishing car, very sophisticated
for its age and they go like stink!

The drivers briefing at MRI saw the usual suspects of Perry, Nishy and
new favourite Mowlem giving talks. Very entertaining as always, with
Jonny Mowlem seeming to take to it like a duck to water.

Mowlem seems to be a very funny laid back guy, think it's all the racing
in the US he does!
Johnny was on the MRI team with Pel the year we went with them - not
quite as Mike Reid as Pel but very good

I knew that someone else would do a much better write up than I could
hope to. So I've settled for a few 'colour' pics to give a flavour of
the weekend.

No doubt many won't bother to take a look so I'll also give thanks here
to Paul & Jules for their hospitality to Jaz & I, very much appreciated.

I was dealing with not being there again this year until I saw your pictures
Tony. It's true, there is no cure once one has been bitten by 'Le Bug des
La Sarthe'.

Great pictures though, thanks. It appears that Paul hasn't changed a bit,
I'll leave it up to the reader to decide whether that's a good thing or
not.

Are you guys set on camping in Beausejour now? I though Karting Nord was
your spot.

Hope springs eternal for next year.....

Hi Frank,

Hopefully you'll be pleased to know that your absence was noted and a
suitable toast raised.

Beausejour has improved a lot in the last couple of years in terms of
facilities, showers etc. It's still a bit of a hike from the main
complex, but a couple of bikes takes care of that.

On the other hand it's very convenient for the Porsche curves and
Arnarge.. It's also a very large site and easy to get tickets for..

Hope to meet you there again one year..

T.

Thanks, that is nice to hear. Although it does sound a bit like you're
getting a bit desperate for toasts....

I hope so too. After '03 I never expected it would take this long to get
back.
