OK so I have:

a Belkin wired router connected to
Two PCs running windows 2000 using Nics.
I've now connected (wired) a laptop running Vista to the router and it
connects to the Internet fine but can't "see" the other 2 PCs at all.
From the PCs the Laptop shows as an Icon in network places but if you
try and access the Laptop it comes back with:
Login failure: account currently disabled
I'm sure its something simple but I'm losing the will to live trying to
figure it out.

It is simple. Your computer is fine. Just kill yourself.

I guess this passes for humour in moron-world.
You mean moron-world where people post networking questions in an F1
newsgroup, rather than in the networking newsgroups??

This is not just an F1 newsgroup, this is a web-based community.

Yep! The same moron-world where I am free to tell you to fuck off real
hard.

I don't attend repertoire theatres, pay $3.00 just to watch commercials.
I recall going to Tarragon Theatre on Sundays - free performance so it
goes - downtown, sorta, toronto.

Calgary, dead.

You can light dollar bills on fire and call them fireworks.

Good one!

You remind me of when I attended to the Toronto Truck Theatre and saw Agatha
Christie's Mouse Trap. That was in 1985. It ran there from 1977 to 2004!

A long time.

And (just to keep this racing relevant) there was the time that Donny Osmond
was in Toronto starring in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Raincoat.

The racing relevance has to do with a Karting race they had at the Skydome,
where Donny Osmond was a celebrity driver and kicked serious ass, revealing a
previously unseen winner-take-all competitive nature.

I remember that in order to keep the track sticky, they sprinkled it with cola
syrup, the kind that they make into soft drinks.

I didn't go to the race or to the play, but I really wish that I had gone to
the race!

It could be worse.
