Listening to See Emily Play and Arthur Layne - it is a little
psychedelic but it still sounds fresh today.

Pink Floyd really has been a fairly sad journey for the band. Yes they
got very rich and had fun but... They said it was not just the drugs
but the fame that got to Syd. The "firing" of Rick Wright, the bitter
leaving of Roger, the lawsuits.

Despite his own protestations I always felt it was Roger Waters and not Syd
who made Pink Floyd what they were. Certainly for me the music he directly
influenced didn't appeal, although plainly it very much did to others.
