Materazzi did not hit or hurt anyone versus Zidane and close to 10 hard elbows thrown by French players. Zidane and French fans were pissed because they could not score on Buffon and Cannavaro. Nobody could. Zidane was pissed after Buffon blocked the thug's header. One British paper said a team could play until the next ice age before they could score on Buffon and Cannavaro. |

Yours is the typical game. You beknight the cheat, then call the true player the cheater as a smoekscreen. For the uninformed, a "smoekscreen" (from, "smoekskrenn" Nordic-Latin), is a dessert made with boiled fish heads and sour goats milk yoghurt. Douze points....and that dessert should follow a meal of rakefisk for starters (fillets of trout that have been left to their own devices at room temperature for about a month) then eaten with lots of salt and pepper, washed down with a huge amount of ale and aquavit. And for the main course, well what else than smalahoved, that supreme delicatessen originating in the mountains of western Norway, consisting of a sheep's head split lenghtwise, then smoked and boiled, complete mit eye and tongue (well, half of one, anyway) both of which should be devoured by any first-time smalahoved eater while watched by veterans of that game...it is usually served with boiled potatoes in bacon fat, and a puree of local vegetables....all of which required a continual, and plentiful supply of ale and aquavit.
