He's right about how good Alonso is though - and he should learn from him. I don't ever remember Fred spouting forth with his opinions on other drivers before he'd ever started an F1 race. "Former world champion Nelson Piquet..." Doh !!!! I scan read it & thought it was an interview with junior....! I Actually former triple world champion... |

LOL! I'd not describe the Ferrari as "dominant", given that McL are obviously up there with them... yes, they may be the best of the front runners, but I'd suggest the margin of Ferrari over McLaren is not such that the Ferrari could be considered to be "dominant". |

I too scan read the article and thought it was Jnr though, and was equally bemused at the arrogance, I think a triple world champion has a right to his opinion, even if we think he is / he is wrong! |

"Margin of Ferrari over McLaren"? McLaren have 44 constructors points, and Ferrari 39. Am I missing something? Mmmm, I see what you mean, but I still think the Ferrari, in the first part of the season, has been ahead of the McLaren in performance. The difference has been the drivers. However, time will undoubtedly tell. Whatever, Piquet was displaying his ignorance, his nationalism, or both. |
