The 65 formula is linked from the same track database. I'm not against
wings, though, not at all - in fact I was thinking about getting rFactor
just for the 79 mod. I want to race cars that have aero downforce but
with decent tyres and that you can still put into a decent drift. GPL
physics plus wings ought to equal lots of fun.

So you want A1GP then.
Did you see the last race ? There was drift, full opposite lock, wheel
banging and yes, even racing.
I haven't seen a single A1GP race because I can't be bothered to figure
out how to get them off the internet and they're only broadcast on pay
tv, which I don't have. But GP2 was ace last year, and I've seen a few
Renault World Series races where there was overtaking.

I'm with you on this. I don't want the wings to go, i just want aero
regulated in such way so to allow passing and close racing. I know it
can be done, because it was done in F1 at one time and it is being
done in Champcars and A1GP today. And they all have wings.
Zigackly. Stop the messing around with silly CDG wings and mandate
something sensible, like, only planar surfaces may be used in the
diffuser, and see what happens then.

I bought mine from an online games retailer. I'm guessing you're in the
States - if you ask over in rec.autos.simulators they often have an idea
of where you can get copies over there. It's definitely available from
marketplace sellers on Amazon but I've never been brave enough to use
that service.

Thanks Phil! You are correct, I am in the states. I have used Amazon
many times here and been very satisfied, but I am not sure of thier
reputation in Europe. Thanks again,

- Marc

Amazon, I use all the time, but Amazon Marketplace sellers are a bit
like ebay merchants - Amazon acts as a facilitator but you don't have
much comeback with Amazon if the goods don't turn up/are faulty etc.
