Surely the competitiveness of next year's car would also have been a factor in his decision? Personally I can't see next years Brawn car being anywhere as dominant as it was at the start of this year. |

How does he KNOW how good the McLaren will be versus the opposition? Sure McLaren had the impetus in the 2nd half of the season, but will that translate into dominance next year? Especially when they will be eschewing the KERS system that worked so well for them. Answer: Who knows? Heh. Wonder if there was a hopeful drivers queue to Brawn's door |

It worked well for them because they developed it well - and they managed to turn what was obviously a dog into a race-winning car despite the ban on testing. In a game of percentages I'd back McLaren. |

*I understand that Brawn received subsidies from Honda during last season which have dried up for 2010 |

An interesting observation. *I understand that Brawn received subsidiesfrom Honda during last season which have dried up for 2010, Honda did a lot ofwork in 2008 laying the foundation of the 2009 Brawn chassis, and Brawn boltedin a Merc engine and turned it into a winner. On the other hand and with their strong second half, and at least for 2010, it appears that McLaren has the forward momentum, not Brawn (Mercedes). Chassis, Engine and then the Driver is how I've witnessed it in the past. I'm looking forward to how it plays out. |
