You shouldn't.

However, the shit head that wrote that crap must!

It's all opinion. And opinions are like arse holes.

Everybody has one and there is but one use for them.

To spew crap that's on your mind.

It's not the drivers at all. It's the order, stack ranking.

C'mon! Gilles at 18! I have no problem with his rating, when you consider
the other 17. But Alboreto at 50? Mario at only 26?

JV as high as 24th?

JV is better than Mario Andretti?

That's insane.

I think he got the first two absolutely right - Clark at number one,
followed by Senna. Following GPs for nearly 50 years that's certainly my
estimation.

The discussion on the BBC forum is interesting with some less informed
contributors asking who Jim Clark was and other equally ignorant posters
saying that Jim Clark was #1 because of a pro *English* bias.

As is Mansell and Alonso being in the top 10.

But then the whole top driver of all time thing is utterly pointless.

Well that's fine. However, I have many Scots friends who see it another way.

I'm sure that they aren't losing sleep over the difference.

It's really weird, I've been following F1 for 30 years+ (must be as I
remember James Hunt winning) but I have never seen the fascination with
Senna. He was a good driver, but I can't see the idolism (is that even a
word) that some people hold him in. Seems to me he was in the right car
at the right time which made him look good, bit like Hamilton the last
couple of years.

Senna was single-minded, dirty driver who cared not one iota for the
safety of his fellow drivers. He started what Schumacher perfected.

Some absolutely wonderful drives where he seemingly drove beyond the
realistic maximum....and his track record before F1 doesn't count, right?

"Idolised" - dunno which word to use either!

Stop being so kind and understating the wealth of 'dirtyness' that Ayrton
contributed to F1 racing.

Admittedly, I was a Mansell buff in those days and hated Senna like the Devil,
but the facts are hard to refute.

And before him came his countryman Nelson Piquet, whose on track antics were
nothing compared to the obnoxious noise he made off the track.

Heck, do you recall when they had the GP Masters series? His comments were
proof that he hasn't changed. Senna was a loud mouth as well.

Ric Zito posted this gem in 2006:

From AtlasF1 :
Piquet slams 'rubbish' GP Masters
By Michele Lostia
February 5th 2006, 18:06 GMT
Former Formula One World Champion Nelson Piquet has slammed the Grand
Prix Masters series, branding it "rubbish" and saying he would never
take part in the formula.
<...>

"I would never do anything like that, because my time as a professional
race driver is gone and I have my job," Piquet told Italy's Autosprint
magazine.
"That's a series for people with no money who are hoping to gain it back
somehow. Beyond that, I don't see any reason to race in such rubbish.
After having raced in F1, you go back at 50 years of age at the wheel of
a car that looks like it? No way."
Piquet added that he has no financial incentives to go back to racing,
the Brazilian claiming his satellite tracking company has made him
richer than he ever was.
"My company has grown immensely: 1,025 employees, with a turnover of
over 200 million dollars," Piquet said. "Personally, I'm making a lot
more than when I used to race in F1. In the next five years, I will gain
double what Michael Schumacher has made in his entire career."
