Either he has a signed contract, or he doesn't.
Or is that to simple?
He says there was a verbal commitment from the Vodaphone big wig (by
telephone, appropriately). Vodaphone say no there wasn't, and your
internal memo saying things weren't settled yet proves it. And Eddie
says memo, schmemo, I was just protecting the confidentiality for your
sake cos you hadn't told the other potential recipients yet. Ding,
ding, seconds out, round two!

More on the story. Warning: Exclusive from Eddie in "the Sun."
Source paper may cause extreme irritation and discomfort for some
people like David C and others. ;-)

EJ never got one, and his biggest problem as a businessman. He makes
verbal agreements that evaporate behind his back.

He's playing with the big boys now, not making deals in the paddock
hiding between the transporters. I think EJ is about to learn a very
valuable lesson - if you're doing *BIG* business, you do it their way!
