Never had the Atari, but han an Intellivision - you can get ROM's for
them legally I think. Shark Shark was a classic.

Still got one. Had it set up to connect to my PC - browsing the web
using lynx through a TRS-80 is something to behold. The screen width
isn't really up to it

Intellivision had a B-17 bomber game with the missions going out from
England to Germany. At the time there was nothing even close. I
think even today it would be a very impressive game.

The game required a lot of skill, strategy and luck plus they must
have built in some crude AI. The tension was very high as you dropped
your bombs, made your turned and started heading back to base. A
truly or Trulli amazing game. Had the intellivoice with characters
talking.

http://www.intellivisionlives.com/bl...voice.html#b17

Apparently never sold in Europe for politically correct reasons in
1981.

FUN FACT: B-17 Bomber was not included when foreign versions of the
Intellivoice games were recorded. In a rare show of good taste,
Marketing decided that a game in which the goal is to drop bombs on
France, Germany and Italy would be inappropriate for the European
market.

Sure, don't forget to include envelope and postage to send it back. If
you want, I'll even video me solving it...
