No cheating teams left in F1?

the red cars are till there

Britpack alert..

There's that good old nationality card being played again. Don't
have a good argument?

Oh you just know that ain't the case.

Just play that nationality card.

What - you don't see the selectivity of calling Ferrari cheats and
ignoring McLaren's conviction in 2007 and lying at the start of 2009?

I was addressing the way that the argument descended to nationality.
Calling Ferrari cheats may be selective, but it's nothing to do with
nationality (unless you say something like "typical wop cheats".)
Nonsense - it's just more subtle.

Bob it's not about my views on Nationality or Race. All of my ancestory
is British, I could hardly hate myself. Unless I were Bird.

It's about the boorish parochial attitude of those who say all that is
British is fine, sporting and deserving of praise and that all else
should be derided. So those foreign chappies in Italy and that nasty
Spanish - and worse German - driver are despised. The posters here who
fit the bill will have many other thinly veiled reasons for their views,
but it's transparent.

Hold on, who invented the term "Britpack"?

As for that "German", well, he was a cheat, wasn't he?

Whatever, as a citizen of the whole wide universe, let alone the whole

here who are prejudiced against everyone _else_, Chris.

Yes, I'm a Brit and I find it the same as you. It's especially bad
among expats. I spent a lot of time living abroad (ie not in UK) and
it really is annoying. I always used to wonder why, if things were so
good back in UK, why didn't they just fuck off back home instead of
moaning about everything where they were?

That's wrong. My Grandad fought in the war. Even so, he had nothing
against Germans until the day he died in 1989.

The fact that he was an arrogant two faced spin doctored arse for the first
season and a half and that the rest of the sentient universe saw the same
thing as I - but later - is of course lost on you.

Like all Britpackers you can't take criticism of your idols and will paint
the rest of the world with shit to avoid considering an alternative view.

But they're only committed until 2012. Montezemolo has been saying
that they are giving themselves until then to consider their options.

Come to think of it, ALL teams are in the same position - not
committed to F1 past the 2012 season. Ferrari are being especially
vocal about it though.
