So I guess you missed the "global" part of "global TV viewership"

It's obvious all the other countries
besides the U.S. are going to watch F1 - they have no other premier racing
series!

They don't, eh? I wasn't aware that DTM, BTCC, Aussie V8's, and other
national racing series throughout the world folded since I last visited
a motorsport news website.

I gotta wonder... what gets more overall attendance/viewership
worldwide..."Speedway" (4 lap single cylinder dirtbike races),
or U.S. "premier openwheel" (an oxymoron if I ever heard one!)?

As I've said before: there are two worlds - the U.S. and the rest of the
world. The U.S. can get by without the rest. The rest can not get by
without the U.S.

Hopefully that inane mindset isn't too widespread within the US,
otherwise this country really is on the road to decline.

I have this clown killfiled, but it still am terrified that someone
outside the U.S. will think that is the prevailing attitude here...
no wonder the rest of the world hates us! Perhaps we can crosspost
this to the F1 groups...I think he spews there as well...

......and then add the pride of flying the Confederate battle flag and
there you have 90% of what I meet in the south.

There truly is no hope for blissful-indifferent-ignorance....or an "F"
in geography...lol

90% of those I meet in the South these days are from upstate NY or
Michigan.
