Just a tap, really, nothing more.

Why is it most Brits have a problem with Michael? I don't particularly
like him , but to fault him obsessively is over the top.

Just a tap that shouldn't of happened.
Sato made a mistake, just like Schumacher did when he rammed Senna off in
France (1992?).
I have no problem with Michael and do not fault him obsessively.
If the tables were turned and someoned 'dared' to do that to him you would
never hear the last of it and he'd be straight to the FIA insisting they was
banned for 'violent conduct'.

Remind me when he last did something like that?

I could remind you when you said he *would* do something like that, if
you want - it was quite recent.

So, was there any basis for your statement, at all?

For what it's worth, I think any such action would be completely out
of character. Just my opinion.

Deliberately running someone off the track, now...

While I agree that Sato was at fault for the incident, who does Schumacher

Would he of done the same to Montoya or Villeneuve? ......... I doubt it,
not without creating another Piquet / Salazar incident anyway.{;o).

Time to move on Michael.

It's the chin. It's offensive. :v

I wonder what punishment M.S got when he crashed at Austrila only to come
onto the track to knock off Damon Hill and stopping Hill from winning the
championship....
What punishment to MS get for pushing Alonso on to the grass at Silverstone
nearing 185mph..... and also with Mikka at Spa at over 200mph.....
For using illegal software on his then Benneton in 94...?

It goes on and on....

It's all the success. The Brits hate that.

He didn't knock his visor down. He swung at air in frustration. Look at
the replay.

You could tell it was one of those friendly slaps. Sort of like,

That time in Spa before when he was off to kick Coulthard's ass in the
paddock. Darth Vader stopped him.

I'm particularly fond of the incident in Canada a few years back when
Schumacher came out of the pits in an 'aggresive' manner, forcing HHF
into an avoiding accident and retirement. Unpunished IIRC.

Kind regards,

David
I remember that well. I believe that incident was the beginning of the end
of HHF's career.
