Default Speed's radio comment - 04-10-2007 , 08:58 AM

Think it was Friday practice.

-several seconds of Italian-

Speed: '....I keep hearing someone talking Italian...'

Just thought that was funny. He had a funny tone to his voice, like
that was the most irritating thing that could be happening to him at
that moment.

LOL!

Speed needs to go. That team isn't doing much for him. I think they
are both at crossroads.

Berger can't manage the team.

Speed?

Well, I don't think he should be in F1 if he can't go anywhere else. I
just don't see the team moving forward. There isn't much progress.
Sure, they have to work out the 'new' car but I don't see a lunge
forward.

You should consider changing your nym. It's misleading.

Why? Because I have an opinion that differs from yours? I have been
watching F1 since the early 80s so I guess I don't love the motorsport
at all. Drat! All those hours of my life wasted!

So what should I change my name to? "Bigger Bird" or how about
"BigFU"?

Thanks for your kind reply since you are so wise.

You wouldn't think so given your comments about Speed and STR. I wouldn't
have thought anyone who is aware of any of the history of F1 would suggest
any driver, other than the very worst, leave the formula or even motorsport
in this case because he can't secure a top drive in his first couple of
years, nor that a team is only it's second year had no hope of going
anywhere.

Compare and contrast your comments to Minardi and Alonso a few years back.
Should he have got out because Minardi were going nowhere.

Put that together with you previous comments asserting that Hamilton did not
out-manouvre anyone in Malaysia and also that "it has nothing to do with car
control because I don't recall Lewis getting
the car out of control." and I think I you shouln't be shocked that someone
takes the piss a little.

OMG. Is that your spin on it? Seriously, is it? I don't see Scott
Speed lasting in F1. Minardi and STR are different teams, different
time period. Get over the history and live in the present. Scott Speed
is not Alonso.

I guess since my views differ from your's I must not be a loyal fan of
F1. Give me a break! A heavy car can't outmaneuver a lighter one
unless the maneuver is a BLOCK or the driver outwits the other which
Hamilton clearly did with Massa. Massa drove in too hard in the same
corner, not once but twice with the same result. he lost grip and
Hamilton capitalized on the mistake. It wasn't about maneuverability
because Massa caused a reaction out of Hamiton.

Blocking does not take much effort for the car in front to stay there.

OMG. You're too much.

Back to your Minardi comment, Had Alonso never left the team he would
not be where he is today.
