Nascar legend Sterling Marlin was asked about the recent ruling that
would ban traction control for Formula 1 racing beginning in 2008.
"Shoot I think it will bring the human element back in the sport.I
really think this will bring the 'dirt track' element into the sport
and ,in my opinion it is something that has been needed for
sometime. It will be fun to watch Alonso fishtailing that Mercedes
around places like Le Sourse" Marlin also announced an expansion of
Sterling Marlin Enterprises.SME will be opening a European office to
handle the overseas operation.
"You know with all this globalization we here at SME have decided to
expand and hopefully we can have a closer relationship with out
European fan base.Slugger Labe (Marlins crew chief and advisor) has
been after me to open up a office for the European front so now it is
gonna happen." |
