Default Wankkonen Wins! - 03-18-2007 , 01:24 AM

Wankkonen Wins the first race of the F1 season. The Finn Flop wont be
able to keep it up for the rest of the season though. Massa will take
over the reigns as Ferrari's number one driver.

Expect to see more from Alonso, Hamilton, Heidfeld and Kubica.

John

What gets me is idiots that go to newsgroups or web sites covering the sport
before they watch a tape delay and then complain when folks talk about it.
Here is a good new rule, don't go till you want to see results. This is
flawless

Yep, common sense and common courtesy work together real well, if one
or the other is somehow forgotten.

Here's a new rule for you. Don't assume anything. You'll be wrong far less
often.

I am Tivoing the next race so I here by forbid anyone from posting any
details of the race for at least a week after as I want to take my time
watching it. I am only asking for a little common courtesy that everyone
who watches it live, retrain themselves for my sake because I can't keep
myself from go to F1 related sites and groups before I see the race for
myself.

Why do some people have such trouble with the concept of spoilers? Only
a seriously selfish and moronic individual could have trouble with the
concept of not posting spoilers in the subject line in the first few
hours after the race. And only a complete twat could think that this is
an unreasonable imposition that means no discussion of the race itself
is permitted.

It took 3 hours to torrent (from /the/ site) the race, in order to get
it to me quicker than Finnish TV. Factoring in slower net connections,
there's no reason why anyone shouldn't have access to the race within
12 or so hours. Your "week" is a pathetic straw man.
