From John Noble's twitter

Jarno Trulli and Adrian Sutil are having a big disagreement about their
Brazil crash in the FIA press conference

Trulli has produced pictures of their crash to show he was alongside the
Force India driver. Kimi and Fernando are laughing a lot

Interview with Trulli

Q. Is this the worst incident of its type that you seen in Formula 1?
JT: Honestly, yes. (!!)

(Talk about sour grapes! What a whiner!)

You know I'm not so sure about all this. Looking again at the video (I have
been watching this onehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UFO5-BGKpwo), it
looks like Trulli was along side Sutil on the straight before the left
hander. He stayed there round the bend but then Sutil went on the normal
line pushing him out. But Sutil should have known he was there, from the
beginning of the bend. Normally the driver on the in side will give space to
a car along side him. Sutil mush have know Trulli was there form the
beginning of the bend. But he took the normal line pushing Trulli on to the
rumble strip. Ok, at this point, Trulli should have backed off, he had
nowhere to go other than the grass. But, Sutil should not have pushed Trulli
to the rumbles.

From Sutils on board it look like Trulli come from nowhere, but from the
other angle, it looks like Trulli was there all the time. The real problem
he is the lack of over head footage from the previous corner and the
connecting straight.

See what I mean? At the very least, I think I can see where Trulli is coming
from. I wouldn't say its Sutils fault as I can see it from his side too. So,
I'm thinking 50/50 racing incident. But I think Trulli is feeling "got at",
while Sutil is getting no criticism, hence the dummy spitting.

Trulli could have backed out, and probably should have, but I can see why he
felt entitled to some space from Trulli.

No they don't, sorry, but that's bollocks. Did Kimi give Lewis space
at Spa last year? Going off your logic, Kimi should have known he was
there and let him past and every other driver who tries an outside
pass should be given space and let through..

He didn't. Watch it again. Sutil takes the normal racing line. Jarno
made a rookie error in losing it on the grass.

No, of course not. I suspect they'd have been a lot ruder than Sutil
was too..

I'd like to ask a question.

If it was say FA, KR, RB, JB, NR, FM or RK in the Force-i , would they

And, if its had been, say, Button or Hamilton on a WDC run, would the
"britpac" be slating Sutil?
Who's slating Sutil? No one I can see.. Jarno's fault, plain and
simple.

I can't speak for the britpac, not being part of it, but I'd have been
calling Button or Hamilton an idiot for trying such a stupid move and
throwing away the WDC. Trulli still can't accept he was driving outside of
his ability, during 1st practice today he's been to see the stewards again
carrying his dossier related to the incident.

I don't think Button would have tried it - but saying that, the way he
was driving in Brazil, he might have. Hamilton or Kimi would have had
no problem trying such a move and pulling it off. I doubt Button,
Lewis or Kimi are stupid enough to apply a bootful of throttle on the
grass like Trulli did though..

He should be in a Ferrari next year with his toy-throwing ability..

No. And the flip side is that if they were in Truli's place, they wouldn't
be complaining about it over a week after the fact. I understood that race
matters *stayed* at the race and were dealt with there, either finished
with or not. Is that no longer an unwritten rule?

That was only true when the USGP was held at Las Vegas.

Yeah that was *definitely* Dave Morgan.

Actually they are all amateurs. The trick is to walk up to the idiot,
put your arm around his shoulder as if to say "It's alright mate" then
stick your foot in front of theirs as you walk away. Then you go back
and pick them up slipping in the process and your knee lands in an
appropriate place. You then try to help them up by lifting their
shoulder, miss it and grab the bottom of their helmet twisting it
violently. You then pull them up nicely, pat their shoulders in a "are
you OK" fashion and help them over the barrier. I'm always surprised
that when you've been so helpful how much trouble they go to to avoid
you. Now that's just plain rude.

beers,

Yebbut, the Hunt/Morgan altercation was a straight forward fight AFAICR.
No disguising a thing there. Even had you offered them the above advice
I doubt they'd have taken any of it!

But, even if it wasn't completely Trulli's fault, it is ridiculous,
two weeks after the facts, to attend a press conference, carrying
pictures to protest. It's childish, to say the less.

Like I said, I think Trulli feels that he needs to defend his position
when he is getting "all" the blame. Im saying that I dont thing he is
completely, 100% at fault.

If he'd just shut up about it, we'd all have forgotten it by now.
Instead, by bringing it up again, he is actually causing people to foist
more blame onto him. He's an idiot.
