Default Trulli Re-signs officially - 07-28-2006 , 07:00 AM

Looks like another 3 years of mediocre Toyota Performances

When are these team managers gonna learn that fisi and trulli are rubbish

Who would have been your choice of those who are both available and
willing to drive for a team that doesn't fight for the WC?

for what fisi and trulli offer there respective teams.... there is
plenty of cheaper (equally as quick) young talent around - test and
development drivers plus plenty of GP2 hopefuls...

in simple terms.... THEY HAVE HAD THEIR GO!!!

the 3 year deal for trulli completely astounds me in this day and
age.... seriously.... he's not good enough for that sort of deal

i just cant work out why they are coming out so early with these
re-signs.... i would have waited for all the dust to settle with the big
guns then see what is left.... i cant imagine anyone else was after
these guys

Get them signed early so they can see which "big guns" they can fit into
their budgets?

I was hoping you would have given some names, as you seem to think you
know better than the people at Renault and Toyota. Maybe you should
offer your services to them?

Neither Toyota nor Trulli are in the top three club. They are both
upper midfield stuff. So they pretty much deserve each other. Toyota
could have risked with a younger driver, as they already had Ralf, but
in short term that would have cost them points. Of the experienced ones
Trulli was pretty much the best available - the other option being
Villeneuve.

There's no point in waiting for the big guns, as it's clear that
depending how things turn up, only Massa would become available.
Kovalainen maybe, but he'll probably follow the Renault engines to MF1
(or whichever team ends up using them).
