Default Wassup y'all... - 02-14-2007 , 07:07 AM

hey everyone... what's been happening?

Been a bit busy with work etc so haven't been able to get onto RASF1...
spent a bit of time up in Indonesia and Sri Lanka. But still managed to
keep track of The Ashes, which was a bit disappointing really... as
disappointing as a 5-0 drubbing can be (coming from an Aussie).

The one dayers dragged on for a bit. I was almost glad to see England have
a bit of success. I'll bet the selectors were wishing they'd given Liam
Plunkett a go in the test series... now that was beautiful swing bowling -
at pace too. England will probably make it to the semi final stages of the
WC - they have had a good record on Carribean pitches of late.

Pretty excited about the upcoming F1 season. I'd love to see Kimi and Massa
head to head...

I haven't been keeping track of testing or anything. Only updates I have
are from a friend (my friend Ben who dogged the go-karting day, Frank), who
says that the Red Bull is a pig... anyways.

I hope everyone's been good. Hope not too many of you have changed
aliases... or is that alii... or is it just alias?

Everyone is saying that Kimi will be wiping the floors with Massa, so
i'm not sure what's going to happen. The garage will look spotless,
but after all that cleaning we'll just have to wait and see who is the
fitter one to manage to race a car as well.

Yep, bloody Ben. What the hell is wring with him, picking a girl over
spending quality time with us in midget karts, on a track which felt
like loosened up cobble stones.. ;-)

Yep, it doesn't look good. Webber seems to have quicker times than DC,
but it's hard to say if that is indicative of anything. Still, being
almost a couple of seconds off the top teams, it looks like they could
be struggling. Or just sandbagging way too well.

I'm still me, i think.
Are you heading down here for the F1, or had enough of travelling for
a while ?
We weren't sure about going, but the plan is back on track to go to
only qualifying day. However, only if the weather is half good. Last
year it was cold, windy and raining on and off all frigging day.
Not doing that again.

No - I'm still the voice of reason.

As i've always said, we should book then..

You know that we won't get 10 of us together, just like the last time
we went..so group booking is unlikely. :-/

Anyway, my mail is still 'fajp et optushome duct com duct au'.
All those wanting in, shoot me an email and make the subject
"karting". We'll do a head count in a week and see what we can do.

I'll be down there on the 16th May, Frank. Probably going to see, in
this order:

Storm vs Bulldogs Friday night (NRL)
Magpies vs Blues Saturday afternoon (AFL)
Swans vs St Kilda Saturday night (AFL)
Cats vs Eagles Sunday afternoon (AFL)

Will have to catch up for a drink!!!
