McLaren - boldy going where the ugly stick dares to tread.

(It's time they regulated all of these additional aero devices off the
cars.)

C'mon guys, it's not exactly a sore thumb and my eyes still got drawn
to the Viking horns first.
Anyway, since when do purpose built race cars have to be pretty ?

Ok, but only as long as Ferrari has to remove them as well.
And no spring loaded body flaps. Mmmk ? ;-p

I like it, in a wacky races kinda way. I'm not a betting man but I
wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't find it's way onto the car at a
race weekend.

Here is a closer look:

http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/58430

There's going to be questions raised if the middle bit moves relative to
the nose, for sure.
Not round here there won't

So it's ok when Ferrari have two deck wings, but when McLaren do the
same thing but it's not as pretty, you want to ban it?

Of course! ;-p

But seriously - if that wing suddenly found itself touching the nose on the
main straight would you consider it illegal or cleverly getting around the
tests?

How is that the same thing, even for someone as blinkered and
unreasoning as you?

Are you ever going to contribute something instructive or informative
