It's true. Reliable car is MUCH more important than fast driver in
today's F1.
Which I find a bit on the boring side. If I want to watch an endurance race
I will tune in to the many ALMS and 24hdlm. Also, doubly penalizing teams
for reliability problems is not in the best interest, IMO. The old way to
make sure reliability was a factor was that when your engine broke, you were
out of the race. That seems good enough for me. Now 10-spot penalties for
changing engines and nailing you with the single-lap qualiy order the next
race just serves to make for LESS competition. Wrong idea.

OK. I apologize.
Just joking...

Ferrari given the #1 special treatment Schumacher gets.
It doesn't get any less valid than Schumacher's titles, they are
worthless. And now he is utter crap without the Ferrari super cars of
the past 5 years.

I do feel sorry for you. After we are all dead, people will look back
at F1 history and see a big block of 'Michael Schumacher's written on
the championships list. Pretty much every single statistic that people
look up will have Michael Schumacher at the top of the list. It will
stand out, and people will think 'Jeez, that guy must have been awesome
to do that'. And to think you will have wasted a substantial part of
your life getting all upset about how evil and nasty he is.

What a shame.

If you love him, hate him, or are a normal, balanced individual, it
doesn't matter. His achievements, whatever you think of them or how he
achieved them, have made him a Formula One legend for all of eternity.
Some of us take a step back occasionally and remind ourselves how lucky
we are to be witnessing the career of somebody who will be such a
legend. Even if you think he's a prick.

How lucky we are? That the fucking funniest thing I've heard all week!

No he's right, Pricks cannot be shown on British Television before the
9.00pm watershed, Thanks to Schumbag...We do now ;-)

Personally, i'll always remember him as the dirtiest driver in F1, The
*incident with Damon to win his WDT (possibly an accident) but the incident
with Jaques was downright scumbag cowardice.

Here's one for the record books, How many *legends* have had ALL their
points taken away for the whole season?...
Now THAT will be good reading in the F1 racing history books (or will they
nicely omit it?)

It probably irks some people for a Spanish driver in a French car to kick
butt.

Congratulations, Fernando.
