Underdesigned strut, more than flexi-wing, though the result is similar.

I've found the secret racing download torrent facility.

The one about the "Fish" that bites people's ankles in the river.

It's a gem!

I was catching that one that PaulB spoke of, Can-Am from 1967, tonight.

I work for a computer firm. Looks like I'm due for a hard drive capacity
upgrade.

They're cheap enough. I just got a 500Gb Seagate SATA 2 drive for £64
delivered.

Sure - I know it's not Ferrari, but why isn't any other team with a
flexible wing a concern?

This is the sort of thing that happened many years ago (rear wing bending
back at speed). I can't imagine the other teams can be happy ..

IMO and for the record :

- it's completely illegal
- it should be changed immediately
- same goes for the McLaren front wing

Now, as to why the other teams aren't protesting, there can be only one
possible reason :

- they're all filthy British cheats

As for why Ferrari isn't protesting either this or the McLaren wing :

- they have more to lose than to gain by protesting

I'll leave you to draw your own conclusion as to why.

Perhaps the way for the FIA to put an end to this is to put all cars
through an independent wind tunnel test.

This would allow them to check the behaviour of the wings at high speed.

Combined with the static load tests, this should sort things out fairly
quickly.

These tests need to be done at the track though, I don't think a portable
wind tunnel exists...

...unless you got all the team managers to talk at the car about Max's new
rule proposals...

Why at the track? Why not as follows?

Any new aero parts to be tested by the FIA at their approved wind tunnel
before being used in a race.

The only issue then is to ensure that the parts used by teams are the
same design as those tested. Use of batch/serial numbers on parts could
be used to aid scrutineering issues at the track.
