Default Accident at friends house - 08-04-2004 , 03:56 AM

Some girl in a Tacoma pickup today swung wide going around the curve in
front of my friends house. The RF wheel rolled over his 18 inch high
boulder that was sitting next to his mailbox at the end of his driveway.
She nailed the mailbox & post with the front of the truck knocking it
over.

Hung up on the boulder the girl is smoking the tires, rocking the truck
back & forth trying to free the truck, antifreeze is pouring out all
over the place, the girl is reving the hell out of the engine while all
the lifes blood is running out from under it.
My buddys wife hangs up with me, grabs the camera & cellphone to call
the cops. Somehow the girl ( age 24 ) managed to get the truck off the
boulder & took off.

She left an antifreeze trail all the way to her house one block away!

6 of her relatives rushed to my friends house. Neighbors had gathered.
The Cops soon arrived, and they asked the father where his daughter
was. He said " She went home " .

The Cop told the father bring your daughter back here with her papers &
the truck. The father said he'd get the daughter but the truck lost all
the antifreeze, the bottom of the radiator tank got smashed.

The daughter told the cops she couldn't steer the truck going around the
sweping left curve that had a stop sign before the curve.

My buddy's wife told the cops the girl didn't stop at the stop sign and
was flying around the corner. She was on the phone with me at the time
and was watching out the kitchen window.

My buddys wife also got pictures of the girl smoking the tires in an
attempt to free herself from the boulder so she could flee, which she
did. Many of the neighbors also got to witness this spectacular.

Busted !

In a broken Czeq / Polish accent, Daddy said he'd pay for the damage
done by his daughter.

That's life in the suburbs !

Well,,as long as no one got hurt. I don't think trying to leave the scene is
a smart thing to do but she must have been very nervous..

She had an excuse:

She was POLISH!

PS
Why don't they have any Polish elevator operators?

Because they can't remember the route!

And she thought insurance was expensive before she had a "failure to
report" and "leaving the scene" charges on her license. Sad part is I
hear this sort of story way too often.

If only she had "hit a groundhog/coon/other wild animal" that ran
away.. she not only, would be not a fault, her insurance co' might
have covered the damage to her vehicle under 'comp

I guess this is what's called "learning the hard way"
