As I said in my last post when I asked you if the high beam indicator worked, It could be the module. My first post advised checking the terminals on the switch. Thanks again for the info R, but I tried replacing the entire headlight/twilight/dash lights switch (I assumed you were talking about those switches) today (I went to a junk yard and tried 2 or 3 different units, even mix matching a few) and still no luck. No DRL's, no auto lights, and no High Beam indicator. Any other suggestions? Are there relay's or fuses that I may have missed that could have blown that would make the DRL's and the auto lights not work, but still let the lights work manually by the switch? Thanks again for your time. ![]() -- 80 Knight My Karr's Website: http://www.geocities.com/brandon_80_knight/ "R" <calculus (AT) nospam (DOT) com> wrote in message news:e9XQc.11332$9Y6.3841 (AT) newsread1 (DOT) news.pas.earthlink.net... Just one more question about the '91 SSE. It came standard with both Daytime Running Lights and automatic headlights, but neither of these features work. Does anyone know about this kind of stuff? Is there a hidden fuse or relay somewhere? Thanks everyone Does your high beam indicator light up when they are on? It could be the drl/twilight sentinel module. I have changed a few of these. I don't think there is any fuse or relay that will solve your problem. As Harry Face said, I would also check the headlight switch. Sometimes the terminals are burned due to high resistance. Pull the connector off the swich and look for melted or discolored terminals. Hmm, now that you mention it, the high beam indicator does not come on when the HB lights are on. Where would I find this 'drl/twilight' module? |

H Hmm, I hope it is not a possibility lol I really want these features working. I know it sounds petty, but out of the 5 cars I have owned, 4 have had the auto-headlights. Thank you for your help as well. ![]() -- 80 Knight My Karr's Website: http://www.geocities.com/brandon_80_knight/ |

Would be interested in hearing what fixes problems. The only difference I can see between a 90 and 91 LE is the different style front seat & a slightly different contour line in the bottom of the bumper cover. ========= Harryface ========= 1991 Pontiac Bonneville LE 3800 V6 ( C ), Black/Slate Grey _~_~_~287,124 miles_~_~_ ~_~_~_~_U.S.A._~_~_~_~_~_ ~~~The Former Fleet ~~~ 89 Cavalier Z 24 convertible 78 Holiday 88 coupe 68 LeSabre convertible 73 Impala sedan |

Next time you go to the junk yard pick up a few of those headlamp switch bulbs. The SSE has two of them. The bulbs are not available through the dealer anymore. Be careful cleaning around the headlight switch, any water that gets behind the switch, blows the bulb as soon as you start the car. This bulb is dimly lit during the day so the Headlight switch can be seen in a dark garage. Glad your Lights problem are now overwith.
