Default starter or solenoid? - 05-20-2007 , 04:58 PM






i replaced pos cable .had battery and starter both tested. both good. i
replaced solenoid twice 1990 buick skylark 2.5L will start maybe 5 or 6
times and then nothing when key is turned until i jump the solenoid w/
screwdriver

Isn't that solenoid controlled by a trigger wire from the IGNITION SWITCH?

Check to see if you are you getting power to the solenoid, when the key is
turned to the start position, WBMA.
