Hold on a second...People in NJ can't talk on there cell phone, but they
can type out text messages? Wow...How about an IQ test for people who
come up with these kind of laws too...

What's also funny is that we have a law here in California for not
talking on the phone while driving. It goes into effect this October.

I can't tell you how often I see a highway patrol or sheriff driving
while talking on the cell phone.
I'm in Ontario, and as far as I know, there isn't a law in effect at the
moment, but they are working on it. I see people on there cell phones
(including Officer's) all the time.

wanna buy a 69 newport?
Lets see I could get $50 at the scrap yard, but getting it there would
kill my profit.
Just leave it on the street with the keys in the ignition.

think adjustable pedals makes more sense
I believe the latest Taurus's had those.
Another nice car let out to pasture just when it got really good.

Good for California.
I get very frustrated with drivers on the phone going too slow in
traffic.

Ford fisrt offered telescoping steering wheels on the 55 T-Birds, and GM
offered it on High end cars (Buick Oldsmobile, Cadillac) in 1965. It was
added to the rest of the GM line from 1966 on. I had two Cadillacs with tilt
and telescope wheels. I guess the bean counters scrapped it for excess
cost, since it went away. I thought it was a great idea.

The old Jags had a telescoping adjustment steering wheel. This is more
useful than the tilt steering wheel feature found on today's cars.
A telescoping wheel allows you to slide the driver's seat farther back
until the pedals are just in the right geomety, then you adust the wheel
for comfort and control.
Let's see this telescoping feature combined with tilt on American cars,
GM, Ford, and D-C.

My 1966 Chevy Caprice had a telescoping steering wheel that also tilted.
