Default switch front driver and passenger side seats? - 09-06-2009 , 01:27 PM

I got this used 1994 buick regal custom. The driver's seat is in bad
shape and the front passenger side seat is good. Is it possible to
switch these two seats?

You can switch seat parts but not all of it.

Well you would need to pull both seats, then swap the seat mounts/base
assemblies. Then you still have the problem of the recline/lumbar
adjusters being in the wrong spots.
MUCH easier would be to find a replacement from a boneyard OR have the
seat redone if the car is in good shape.

Thanks for the info. It seems too much trouble. A replacement part may
be a good idea.
