Default Element, what motor? - 12-28-2004 , 10:06 AM

My friend is looking at elements and was told there is a
V6 model. I looked at honda.com, and it says inline 4.

What is the deal?

Sales people usually have no idea what they are talking about. If you find
one that does, you should remember the name and always go back ;-)

There is no deal. Elements use the same mechanical pieces as found in the
CR-V, a 2.4L 160hp 4 cyl engine. If the salesman said it had a 6 cyl, go
find another salesman who is knowledgeable about the product he/she sells.
The Pilot is the only Honda SUV with a 6 cyl.
