I have Honda civic 2001(5- speeds) and I am reading the manual to explain how to check and add the transmission oil. They clearly said how to check the transmission oil level by removing the filler bolt and entering a finger to check the level. But they did not explain how to add?? where is the filler?? |

So...you understand how to check through the filler bolt....and you want to know where the filler is? Think. |

From Stephen's message, you add via the filler bolt hole. I bought around three feet of clear tygon tubing (available at Home Depot type places) of 1/2 inch diameter or so and pushed one end into the filler bolt hole. At the other end, I fitted a funnel whose bottom was slightly smaller than the tubing ID. Pour the transmission oil through this. |

I recommend putting a dry oil pan beneath the filler hole to signal when it's full. |
