I want to burn a few copies of DVDs for the Odyssey, however, I'm unable to get both + and - formats to work. Store purchased titles work fine, and, when we purchased the van, our salesperson showed us one of his home-made DVDs of a trip he took. Has anyone else had problems with this? I use CDXPBurnerPro for all my CD and DVD burning needs. Is there another program out there that would work better and assure that my DVDs will be playable in the van? Thanks for any and all comments. --JC |

Many types of DVD-Rs work, but DVD-RWs and the +R/RWs do not. I have had luck with Ritek 4x DVD-Rs and CompUSA 1x DVD-Rs (not sure who makes them). |

Do a search at www.odyclub.com and you will find a lot of info on your problem. a lot of time it is simply finding the right brand of DVDs that work..... Now, mind you, this was using DVD -R. It does NOT work with DVD +R (really didn't expect it to). |

Is it possible Alpine updated the dvd players for the 2005 models? |
