Regular headlamps should not remain on when turned off during the day.
If they do, there is likely a problem with the daylight sensor
located on top of the dash near the windshield. It could also be a
switch malfunction or wiring somewhere. Difficult to diagnose by
yourself and could be expensive to fix. This should not be happening
on a 2005 Honda.
