I always get a kick out of people who don't want the sticker on their car. What difference could it possible make? I mean, you can't see it when you're driving and who cares what the guy behind you thinks (as if...) Me, I could care less. There are more ugly people driving than there are ugly stickers on cars. True story - I drive an Mercedes and have removed the license plate frames (yes, they give me two), because they cover up portions of my specialty plates (which aren't vanity, btw) (I know this sounds contrary to what I have already said so bite me) Anyway, every time I bring it in for service, the dealer installs 2 new frames. I have like 14 of them in my garage. It's getting to be rather funny. Too bad the cost of these damn things aids in them barely discounting the cars. Perhaps, I shall take them with when I trade-in. Perhaps they might give me some floor mats or something. Nah, most likely - just a dirty look. Requested that the logo not be put on--prep guys put it on--Just before taking delivery saw the logo, pointed it out to the salesman-it was removed. No pain, no strain. I will buy a new civic pretty soon, but looking at the neighbors car, he has a big ugly dealer logo on the back of his car. Other have the name of the dealer (I am talking about a silver plastic logo, not just the advertisement on the license plates). I do not want my car to have it. What is the best way to have the dealer not to attach any to the car? I am afraid that after I sign the documents and take delivery of the car they will stick it to it. What do you guys recommend? Tell them that you do not want the sticker on your car. That's always worked for me, if they inadvertently put one on the vehicle (because the prep guys are used to doing that), tell them to remove it. -- Brian |
