Could be a bend control arm rubbing against brake lines

Hi All!

I have a 2000 Honda Accord SE and recently I've noticed a slight rubbing
sound coming from the left front wheel well..... the best I can describe
it
is similar to having a stone caught in the tire tread...... not so much a
clicking/ticking sound though..... turning left/right doesn't affect
it....
neither does applying the brake...... before I start pulling things apart,
I just wondered if anyone else has experienced this..... how was it
corrected (if it was)?

Thanks!

I found the same noise in my Accord was the brake rotors. There was
some corrosion along the outer edges that was rubbing on the calipers as
the wheel turned. Cleaned it off and the noise went away. bob
