Rear Break question on Accord 2000 - 08-25-2003 , 04:54 PM

I recently replaced the rear break pads on my Honda Accord V6 2000 LX. I
noticed that the outer pads have the shims attached to the pads, but the
inner pads do not have the shims. Is this normal?
