Hi, Just removed the clock from the dash, removed the plastic cover and now have the green 'computer' board facing me... (Initial problem- light doesnt work on clock). Where is the clock bulb located? I see a part that says 11, 47, 25v.. Is that the bulb? or will that control the emergency flasher??? Please help Thanks KOS |

Please help Thanks KOS My manual is for a 1999, but I assume they are the same. The clock back light is integral to the clock. The lamp is a 0.7 watt LED, and is powered from pin 1 on the clock. That pin is fed with a yellow wire from the fuse/relay box. If you can find the yellow wire in the 5-pin connector, then trace that to the LED, you will have found it. The Hazard Warning switch is connected to a 10-pin connector (only 8 used.) The clock is on a 5-pin connector. The two aren't related. The Hazard switch is just using the clock face as a place to hold it. Dick |

If you pull the clock module out and turn it 90 DEgrees, it is the little round plastic button with a screwdriver slot. Turn the button, out comes the lamp insert new lamp, turn button the other way and insert clock module. that's all was there was to it. I didn't ever have to deconnect anything. Hope this helps. I then put the headlights on to see if the light on the clock would work,I noticed that when I put the headlights on the light on the clock goes dimmer....is that suppose to be like that? I thought when you would put headlights on the light would go brighter, as one would need more light to see the time....Again, with no headlights on, light is on clock, with headlights light is on, but dimmer 'Curly' |
