Default ac airconditioning electrical problem - 07-17-2003 , 09:57 AM

1987 Honda Accord. There is no power going to the yellow/black wire
that feeds the relay control and indicator switch of the ac clutch
relay and feeds the indicator switch for the rear defroster. Does
anyone have any locations where this wire comes out or a wiring
diagram. I have adiagram but it does not tie the yellow/black wire
into the body wiring diagram.

ck your # 5 fuse in the dash fuse box.
It is a 10 amp. fuse. If it is blown you might
have a bad field coil on the commpressor.
disconnect the wire going to the compressor than replaced the fuse, if it does
not blow now you need to replaced
the compressor field coil. ( some of the older style compressors, the field
coil is
no longer available) You have to change the whole comperssor.
