Default CRV driveshaft replacement - 05-09-2005 , 08:37 PM

I'm a little surprised, but at 65,000 my 2001 CRV needs a new
driveshaft...is this common?

If you got caught in an ice-storm, or sucked in a coat hanger somebody
left on the road, any car can shred a boot. On the (non-Canadian) '98
and newer, I think the boots can be changed without replacing the whole
assembly, if you caught the failure right away. It ain't a huge job, and
the OEM parts might be worth the difference. Somebody around here will know.

confusion.
