Hello, I have a 2008 Accord and still love the car like I did when I leased it. The 2009 from what I understand only added a couple of minor changes such as offering bluetooth by itself instead of needing to get it with the navigation package and maybe some minor accesories that were offered. I'm curious to find out if there will be any other changes for 2010. I would like to see Honda move to a 6 speed auto transmission and offer HID lights. |
|
I also think that foglights should be standard from the EX 4cyl and up. |

Paddle shifters..hell the FIT has it, how come the Accord doesnt??! |
|
Honda, step up to the plate a little more...you're almost there! |

You may eventually see those on the Accord, but only once they're old-hat on Acuras. Techno-goodies usually trickle down from the expensive models to the cheaper ones. Honda has to maintain a rationale for the upcharges they want you to pay when they ask you to park your butt in their upmarket models. |
|
Different demographic, probably. Paddle shifters are a "performance" feature. Most Accord buyers are looking for comfort, not "performance". |

Honda is certainly "there" with their customers. I suspect Honda knows its market way better than any of us. |

I agree, but now that I'm getting older my night vision is not as good and find I need more light on the road at night. HID would help this a little. Different demographic, probably. Maybe, but isnt the TL considered a comfort car and they have paddles on those cars I think. Honda is certainly "there" with their customers. I suspect Honda knows its market way better than any of us. I think Honda is doing most things right, in fact they are about 99% there. I would just like to see some of the more upscale features in the car. I think if you pay 27-30k for a car, having HID isnt asking for too much. |

Assuming the car didn't come with them, you may be able to replace the bulbs with HIR. About 50% more light. I did it on a 2005 Accord. You may have to trim the base to fit. Well worth it though. |
