I have a 92 Honda Accord with 5-spd manual transmission. Based on info
here, I have a bad VSS. However, I couldn't find the sensor in the
engine compartment. It seems that most of the description I saw here
is related to the auto trans. Any help on the location of the sensor
inside the engine compartment for my car would be greatly appreciated. |
If you have an electronic sensor at the transmisison end, which I think you
have (see here <http://makeashorterlink.com/?N68B63D45>, it sits on top of
the power steering speed sensor, which you can see at
<http://makeashorterlink.com/?K37B25D45> as part no. 9. Look for the two
P/S hoses which go to the speed sensor on top of the differential housing
and atop that unit should be the VSS.
