which sanding paper number is safe for the car paint? i have
a scrape that i need to paint over.

but first i have to sand it.

the absolute finest grit you can find (200+)... soak it in water first
and keep it wet while using it.

You don't use sandpaper, you use "wet paper". Any automotive supply
store should have it. It's black, has a very fine grit and is
waterproof. To use it, get a garden hose and turn it on so there's
