I would take the $8,000 and drive the car as is but it worth about
$5,000 less if you resell it.

according to an ad, a brand new hail damaged car is being sold at $8000 off
MSRP. It normally sells for $3000 off. I have no idea what hail damaged
vehicles look like. Are they worth it? How much to fix such a damage?

(Sorry, couldn't resist it)

Actually, the car has a tendency to lift at about 70 MPH.

Once knew of a car that would lose time at 88 MPH.....

Until the CEO of that company got busted for buying heroin.

IIRC it was for cocaine. As a friend of mine said at the time: "If I had
$24 million of coke, I'd build a car with doors that open wrong, too"

My dad owns a DeLorean and I can tell you the doors are
only part of it's uniqueness, it's was put together like a Pinto
on a Friday.

A Co-worker's father has one too... He keeps a fire extinguisher in
the cabin because they tend to catch fire. Learn something new every
day.

That's quite a recommendation!

I have a friend who's got 2 of them.

Too bad about the poor quality - the gull wing doors were copied from
the Mercedes 300SL, a real classic.

Right - parts are cheaper in the past, but you can't
trust the car to bring you back to present day though !!!
