What a pitiful turnout. When I used to go you had to ride the buses to
the track and plan on an all day event. With 10k you could go watch at
noon for 2 hours and when it got hot you could leave and come back for
the real qualifying late in the day. My company used to give good
customers pole day tickets and fly then to Indy. The best customers
went to the 500.

These days it's Daytona for the customers. One guy asked me if they
still ran at Indy.

from the article written by RM:

"It was another dose of reality Saturday at the Indianapolis Motor
Speedway,
another reminder of how this day, this month and this race are crying out
for an extreme makeover."

Who gets to fire Miller this time?

The reading, astute, motorsports following
public? Nevermind, they fired, laughed at and
started to disaregard his opinion long ago.

I have to apologize to dot. I didn't realize English was a second
language for 'it'.

I can see the higher dosage level in the TGKool-aid is taking effect.

I love it how everyone disses RM whenever he rips on their favorite
series, yet applauds him when he goes after the opposing one.

So, there must be some truth to what he says...

Such mal-analyses are on a par with: I love it the way
both sides have grown to despise Mr. X (Hitler, Nixon,
Bush ...) "so there must be some truth to what he says".
It's tantamount to implying or portraying the truth as
automatically having to lie somewhere in the middle
of two perceived or purported extremes and is pure
and simple sophistry. How 'bout: the Nazis hated the
Jews, the Jews hated the Nazis ... ; or some say the
earth is a flat disc, others say it's an oblate sphere ...

10,000 must have included the teams and track employees. I just watched a
few seconds of this video from the stands.

I remember pole day years ago when it took almost an hour on the bus
to get there. The lines for food was an hour. The lines to the
restrooms were 20 minutes. It was a very exciting and packed event.

Saturday you could park a block away and go home for lunch and return
and find your parking place empty.

what the fuck does that mindless bullshit have to do with RM calling
it like he sees it?

And the majority of those posts would be about the actual race, and not
worthless tripe from pathetic trolls.

It could hardly be more crystal clear that
English doesn't and never has so much as
made an appearance in the lexicons of these
reading comprehension challenged rubes.
