Default CCWS earns top spot in Sport Business Journal Poll - 12-10-2006 , 10:06 AM

The Street and Smith Sports Business Journal, a publication focused on
the behind the scene business aspect of sports. Has recently polled
their subscribers, which is made up in large part by those actually in
the business of sports. In this poll of people actually in the business
of sports. The Champcar World Series was named as the #1 sports
business in America most likely to fold in 2007.

Could you post a link to the article?

I did a search of their site and could not find this info.

He's trolling. Again. He'll need to some up with a very precise
reference.

I did a quick search of Street and Smith and it didn't turn up anything
of the sort.

Funny that I see no mention of this whatsoever on their site.

BTW, the wager is still up and is that-a-way ----->

Or, are you still going to fixate on the wager and refer to a practice
that played an important part in what is regarded as one of the greatest
and most influential litigation systems in ancient history (The legal
system of the Roman Republic) as "childish?"

She can't provide a link becase there probably isn't one. Even if there
were, its highly unlikely that she actually quoted it. Just more of her
drug-induced fantacy and exageration.

But the troll is already finding excuses for not putting her money where
her tooth is.

Do you think that with all the doomsayers from the IRL, we should get
odds? Say their 2 to our 1? If they're so sure of themselves, it
should be a slam-dunk and they can take our money.

You can say whatever you want. You've been critical and would have
preferred that champ car didn't exist.

Does 25/8 ring a bell?

TG has openly made efforts to do just that. And like so many other
things, he has failed.

So that's a "yes"? Any recent quotes?

Not picking a fight or anything. We just cautioned ourselves to read
each other's posts more carefully. I'm trying to get things straight.

Also, could you point to where I supposedly said that I'd prefer for
Champ car to not exist? I need to get that straight, too.

Thanks.

The few I've talked to have never spoke of CCWS' demise. In fact, all
those I spoke with at Watkins Glen were enthused about the prospect of
reunification (the hype was running high at the time).

Yeah but they were teams with no influence at all on what happened. Forcing
the two back together now isn't going to do one bit of good (though it could
have been made to work years ago if someone was willing) It won't bring the
fans together and its the split in the fan base thats the real problem.
