So ChampCar is going along fine and dandy huh? Oh, is any race ever
broadcast on state of the art satellite radio like the IRL is on XM Radio?
Does any ChampCar driver have their own show like the Andretti Green drivers
do? Thought not.

Anyway, the IRL phenomenon grows with news that Danica Patrick will be
joining and her fellow Andretti Green drivers.

A while ago I predicted ChampCar to fold during the winter. Their
contract with ESPN was a last ditch effort to bring in sponsors to stop
ChampCar from sinking. If ChampCar does make it thru the winter they will
not finish their season. George and ESPN know this. They are opening the
door for ChampCar to fold and give themselves to the real racing series -
the IRL.

arguement that the facts stated are correct (which I doubt because GF has
been both a loyal and consistent backer for many many years) that helps the
IRL how? Few if any Champ Car fans would even think about becoming IRL
fans, even if Champ Car didn't exist. Take Champ Car away and all you would
accomplish would be having more ex open wheel race fans. Thats not going to
help the IRL at all.
